The last few days, whenever I use Limewire, about 5 minutes after I begin, I
receive a message "Link to MTS Highspeed failed. Reconnect Pending, and then
"Connecting Through WAN MINIPOINT (PPPOE) Error 676. I then have to shut
down, wait a few minutes and turn on the computer again. This doesn't happen
when I use the Internet or Outlook, just Limewire. I thought there might be

Contact Limewire support for assistance.

Carey, I do have Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Advanced Security
Technologies. I went to the Limewire Support site as you suggested and they
recommended that I add Gnutella as an exception to my firewall, which I did,
although I've never had trouble connecting to Gnutella before. That night I
had no disconnection problem while using Limewire and was happy that the
problem was resolved. The next day, however, I started getting the same
error message.
