i have an error 384 when i start up windows xp. and i went into msconfig and through testing esch link i found that my issue was with something called wstat32.exe ???? do i need to something here do i need this file ???? where do i get this file ???? thanks for you help

Hi, Shawn. Google doesn't have anything on "wstat32.exe", but it
certainly sounds like something that might be left from spyware. Find
the file on your system and see if you can figure out what it belongs
to. If it no longer exists, then don't allow it to start with Windows
from the msconfig utility and see how things go. Of course, you are
practising safe computing and have a current av installed and updated
and are removing spyware with tools regularly, right?

always safe computing, i had done a search for this file, and found it
but it tells me access is denied, (windows system 32) and now that i
clicked on it another file shows up that is associated with
wstat32.exe, (wstat32.exe-09DA2E26.pf) where can i go to view these
files what is windows/system32???? thanks for your help. Shawn

Sorry, Shawn. Google doesn't bring me any links on either variation of
your file. Windows/System32 is a system folder. Maybe someone else will
have heard of the file.
