Error 3709 dbf file Import Error ACC2003

I have an Access 2002 app which imports a file list contained in a dbf file
into an Access table. This is running fine.

I just got a new PC with a nice new copy of Access 2003. The same import
now kicks the error 3709 "The Search Key was not found in any record", and
does not import. I am looking for a workaround or some info on this change
in Access.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Cindy, thanks for the response.

I don't think the situation in KB 302525 applies here. I don't have any
Memo fields, just Number and Text. And the import works just fine in
ACC2002. Interestingly there are in fact some columns/fields named like
MEMO1, MEMOTITLE1, etc. And they are not indexed. I could try removing the
indexes from the few fields that are indexed to see if that makes a
difference???

Hi Dave,

Research shows this error occurs in other versions of Access also. Perhaps

This is still an issue. Any help/thoughts?
