Error 3 Could not create output file

Hello All

I just ran WIN PE on my hardware, from the D:\XPE i typed in the command
"tap /o device.pmq" and I get Error (3): Could not create output file. Can I
save the pmq file to the C: (it is a Disk on Module) as I do not have a USB
FDD here. Any idea what I am doing wrong, the WIN PE is on an evaluation XPE
CD from MS. Do I have the right command?

Cheers

How do you run "WinPE"? Do you boot from the CD?
I suppose D: is your CD-ROM and tap.exe can't save a file on it, of course.
Yes, you can redirect tap output to any writable file. Just make sure the
file path can be created.
(e.g. "tap.exe /o c:\device.pmq").

Hi KM

Thanks, that is what I thought, I investigated further and the DOM that I
used was one of my CE.NET modules and it has no space available hence no way
to output the .pmq file!! Duh!
