Error 2932

The installation of Version 1.0.701 fails and produces Error 2932. I have
uninstalled Version 1.0.615, saved the new version installation program and
still receive the error.

Can someone help? Thanks
 
I have disabled Norton AntiVirus and still receive Internal Error 2932. Can
someone suggest something else that I could attempt to install the update?
 
Error 2932, generically, indicates that the installation script cannot
create a file--i.e. it can't put it where it is supposed to go.

Are you logged in as an administrator? Can you successfully delete \program
files\microsoft antispyware and all subfolders?

Is there any indication about what file is in question, and what location is
involved?
