Error 2287 calling DoCmd.SendObject

Hi, I have the following problem:
I have a text box that contains an e-mail address and a button (on a form),
that "on click" calls the vb statement "DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, , ,
"BCC address", , , "subject", "body".
The .mdb file is Access 2000 version.
When I'm trying through Windows 2000, it works fine!
When I try to do the same thing using Windows XP (another PC), it appears
the error message 2287 (cann't open your default mail client).
I uninstalled and installed again the office 2000 in the Windows XP system,
but I get the same error msg. Any Ideas?? Please help...

Has a different application been set up as the default e-mail client on the
second machine?

I had the same problem. You need to have MS Outlook installed (even if you
don't use it).
