Error 1907 when installing Off2K in XP w/Novell cient

I have seen this error 1907 "Couldn't register font" more
than a few times when installing Office 2000 from our
Novell server, for with XP & Novell, its a must. I
really suspect one or some of the Microsoft updates, for
I prepare PCs in a school system & noticed I could avoid
the 1907 error if I installed Off2k before the Microsoft
updates. I built this GX270 with XP from scratch, & MY
MISTAKE was trusting Microsoft to provide updates that
are not aimed at keeping PC techs from using Office 2000
& Novell!
