After installing and trying Microsoft Office 2007, I wanted to go back to
Office 2002 XP Small Business so I deleted the trial 2007 programs via
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and now when I try to run any Microsoft
program (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) I get the following message after the
Windows Installer pops up and tries to run. Error 1706. Setup cannot find the
required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. I
recently moved and can't find my original Microsoft disks but I do have a
copy of Office 2003 which is my copy at my office. I'm wondering if I just
install the 2003 would it fix my problem?

Installing 2003 wouldn't repair the Installer call for Office 2002. It
would only end up adding another Office version onto your system.
If the time you've had Office 2007 isn't very long ( ~2 Weeks ) you
might do a System Restore. Otherwise it's a very common issue on
older office versions that the newer versions avoid with a Msocache
folder that provides .Msi and components without the CD-ROM.

If Microsoft asks for the Key Code, you can get this by downloading and
installing
one of the utilities mentioned below, all of which will display your product
keys:
Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
(Software Licenses/Key Code are listed about 2/3rds of the way down the
results page)

and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional
features.
