error 1628 .............. JETxxxx.tmp probs

Can you help?
Trying to install Sage Line 50, says installation complete, I click finish
then get message "error 1628 failed to complete installation".
Been throught the install shield help and have found I can't remove two
files from the temp folder as suggestd as they're being used, the file size
is 0. THe weird thing is they were generated when I turned on the pc,
rebooting shows two files in the temp folder but with different xxxx letters
in the file name. How do I remove the files in the temp folder that don't
want to be removed? I read elsewhere the JET is something to do with licenses
and generates different last four letters when booting up.

Now going slowly round in circles! All help very gratefully received!

Rebooting in safe mode should allow you to delete the files. I don't know
