Error 158

When I boot up my laptop, my beta antispyware gives me an
Error 158 protection message. I click okay on the
message box but nothing appears to indicate what type of
error this is? Anyone have any insight to this?

This started happening when I updated my Norton Anti
Virus to 2005 version. This may have something to do
with it.

when installing antispyware beta you have to remove all other antivirus
sofware you can not have both on your system i used norton for years i like
the antispayware beta better the i recomend that you down load windows live
one care you can do a key word search for the window update page an sign up
for the beta there and that works great with both sysprogram running on my
system you must have all your update done as well to make sure all your xp or
what ever you are running on your system for a version of windows plus make
sure your java is up to date as well at www.java.com

Microsoft Anti-Spyware is not an anti-virus and there is no need to
uninstall any anti-virus for Anti-Spyware to work. Spyware and Viruses are
different things.
 
true the why i word it i should of been more clear i was typing fast i do see
issues with nortons thos frank i have not had any now since remove norton
from my system and just keeping spyware program on my system and the window
live care witch is antivirus and firewall sofware
 
Protection Error, Error 158

I have recently downloaded [size=-1]www.GameTap.com i went though the process of purchasing it and such. anyway after downloading it when i went to run it. a box popped up saying Protection Error: Error 158. I have uninstalled Gametap and then reinstalled it. Nothing has worked yet. I was wondering if their is any reason behind this, and if their is what can i do to stop this Error 158 message from showing up....so i can play Gametap. Thanks alot
