Error 14028 when installing XP Home

Hi,
When to start installing Windows (39 min left) I get an errormessage FATAL
ERROR, no 14028 and the computer restarts. Before that I formatted the
harddisk(10 GB) and chose FAT as filesystem. Should I chose NTFS instead?

not familiar with this error number, but are you saying you formatted 10GB
with FAT?
FAT can only handle partitions up to 2GB (4 if you format them with NT, or
Windows 2000/2003 or XP)
So, it just *could* be that therein lies your problem, ie. incorrect setup
of partition/filesystem.
I suggest you you format your disk using NTFS, if you want the whole 10GB to
be your OS partition.
