error 1311 during Outlook 2002 installation

I'm trying to install Outlook 2002 on my Win2K Pro (Service Pack 4) laptop after having removed it some time ago. While logged on as the Administrator I get the error

Error 1311. Source file not found: D:\OFFICE1.CAB. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it

My D drive is the CD-ROM drive and I know that I have access to it and can open the file in WinZip. Didn't have this problem first time around. Wondering if the current service pack is causing problems for me. I searched the threads and found one other post with this problem but no response, so I'm posting the problem again to draw attention to it. Any help would be appreciated
