Error 13 Type Mismatch HELP!!!

I am fairly new to MS Access 2000 coding and I am having trouble
implementing some code that has been widely used, but I keep getting a
"Error 13 Type mismatch" error. The code is to allow uploads from
excel into an access database.

This is the code in my module:

Place the cursor within TransferSpreadsheet and hit F1. This will give
you the help topic for that function. The second arguement is not a
text, but a number (which can be represented by one of the
AcSpreadSheetType constants), then there's table name, (excel) file
name ... perhaps the following is closer?

DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acImport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel8, _
"transstep", strFile, False
