When I boot up I get the two following messages.

Unable to load library wxfw.dll. Attempted to load <Key not
found>\wxfw.dll.Error code:126.

unable to start desktop Weather Setup program!

When trying to install Streets & Trips or Active Sync
I get the following error.

Error.Could not access network location \Wadlergateway\Herm C\My
Documents\My Pictures\.

Dell said it's a system problem - go talk to Microsoft.

Before I go deleting things in the registry, though I'd try here first.

wxfw.dll is The Weather Channel Interactive Consumer Application Software

I have no idea if wxfw.dll is self-registering, but try this.

Paste the following line into Start | Run and click OK...

regsvr32 %ProgramFiles%\The Weather Channel FW\Framework\wxfw.dll

You should get a popup message telling if it worked or not.

Looks like you have a problem with the Target for your My Documents folder.

See these...

Ignore the Plus! for Windows XP part and look at Method 2, here...

Error Message When You Install Plus! for Windows XP: "Error 1606. Could Not
Access Network Location"

You receive an "Error 1606" error message when you try to install or remove
a Microsoft program

Thanks Wesley,

Deleted the weather channel from the registry and followed the
instructions you gave. Worked
