error 1015 perflib

this error appear every 05 minutes in windows 2000 server:
Le délai d'exécution de la fonction "PerfProc" de collecte
de données de performance dans la
bibliothèque "C:\WINNT\system32\perfproc.dll" a expiré. Il
y a peut-être un problème pour ce compteur extensible ou
le service dont il tire ses informations, ou le système
était peut-être très occupé au moment où l'appel a été
tenté.
how can i resolve this problem?

Not sure exactly what you said, but do you need the counters? Try running;
WINMGMT /CLEARADAP

Or if that doesn't work, then you can run exctrlst.exe (Extensible Counter
Listing Tool) from the resource kit and disable the counters if you don't
need or use them. They're for use with Performance Monitor
