error 101

while trying to run micrsoft spyware a message pops up
stating error 101 and i'm unable to run. any suggestions?

Control Panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware.
Choose Change, then update.

If this doesn't do the job, please uninstall the product, and then reinstall
it.

Others have found that if the DCOM service is not running you get this
error, or of DCOM permissions are too restricted.

I just tried to change it and the mesage still pops up.
I dont understand what you mean by DCOM. I managed to get
it working once and then it just quit on me again. Im fed
up really coz it was a brilliant product and now its just
a typical microsoft hassle!
