I had the same problem after installing the application
through a script. What you need to do is go to the program
file were Microsoft Antispyware is and double click the
gcasDtServ.exe. Then you can run the application from the
desktop icon. No reboot is required. What appears to be
happening is the sevice is not starting. Don't quote me on
that.
I stand corrected on the information provided about the
service not bbeing started. It's actually one of the
the "Processes" not starting. Hope this helps.
