I receive error 101 on program start-up. This is a
critical error, and occurs even after uninstall, and re-
install. Any ideas?

Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.

Hello,

If you've tried all the recommended solutions and still no
joy, try this - it finally worked for me (on Win 2000):

Go to the MAS install directory (typically C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Anitspyware)
Create a shortcut for dcasDTServ.exe.
Drag the shortcut into your Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Restart.

Good luck!
