Hello

The Vista team will be happy to help you troubleshoot this issue

We have seen some related issues for Vista machines that have Spyware Doctor
4.0 installed - if you have this software installed, try uninstalling and see
if it helps

If not, you can either let me know your email address so that I can contact
you or file a service request (free of charge) on the WGA hotline
at: http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?&c1=509&gprid=9860&;; and
let me know what the service request number is

I hope that we can help resolve the issue

Regards

Dear Nir,

I got the same problem here and I had followed your suggestion to uninstall
the software but nothing changed. So I followed your other suggestion to get
the support request number, which in my case it is SRZ070320000614.
Please get me out of this problem soon, would u?
Thanks.

Best regard,
Gamato

Im having the same problem with the: Error 0xC004D401 and i think the cause
of it is the installation of an uncompatible game. I want to uninstall that
game but it won't let me open the control panel or programs and features. I
don't know what to do! Can someone help me? Also can u make ur replies as
simple as possible? im not quite sure what you guys are talking about. Im
only 12
~Thanks

Yeah, at that time I also could not access the control panel directly from
the start button. Why dont u go to my computer first, then from the left side
window at the bottom, u click on control panel. It worked for me back then...
And after u uninstall the program that u think has compatibility issues, u go
online and try to validate again. If it still does not work, go to this
website and follow the instructions until u get the transaction code. After a
few days (three at the most), someone from the microsoft side will assist u
to solve your problem. Hope this will work for u, cause it works for me...
