Error 0x80248015 on windows update

Help!

Whenever I run windows update from my new PC I get this
error and cannot proceed!

I had a similar error even after turning on automatic
updates and that background intelligent transfer service
in services...I tried modding my firewall to let me update
but after a few unsuccessfull attempts I just turned it
off. Then updates worked. go figure.

I had the same problem with the same error code.

Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page.

The error was to the upper right hand grayed out so it’s hard to see.

Error # 0X80248015

The problem was that the system clock was wrong. It was set to the year 2099!
