error 0x80004003.

Hit the start scan button on the main page,then it says

Windows Defender has encountered an error 0x80004003. Invalid pointer.

Any ideas

I found this on another forum

Going to be fixed with a future update...

Scan Option's on top. Choose ''Custom''. Select the ''C'' drive. See if you
can scan afterwards.

This seemed to work

Just clic in the task bar on the scan button that will do it
