Errant Form ShortCutMenu Behaviour A97

Hi Folks

I have several forms which use a custom shortcutmenubar.

Generally this works well - but I have just noticed on several forms it
offers the Hide Column menu selection.

a. This is not in my custom shortcut selection menu and

b. Unfortunately this often allows the hiding of the column but greys out
the UnHide selection!

Bit unfortunate really lol.

The forms offer no clue as to why there is now this menu selection available
in my custom menu nor why there is an UnHide menu availability in one form
and not another. Obviously a selection I have made, but I cant decipher the
logic behind it.

Any help appreciated.

Adding the Hide / Unhide commands to my ShortCutMenu allow their use in the
datasheet view of the form - but when its used as a subform the menu
selections either disappear altogether or are greyed out?

Arrrhhh....
