err message

component ' mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered;a file is missing or invalid

this message appeared while unzipping a programme i had down loaded. above the message on the blue bar was the words web browser. can any one help me please

I had the same problem "Paul" but i did a little research online and found out a couple of things.. first off i found where you can download the mscomctl.ocx file, secondly if you reinstall that file and find out your Iexplorer windows have been hijacked with some stupid FizzleWizzle toolbar, I have a link to uninstall that adware. The company states its downloaded with permission but I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT SINCE THE COMPUTER WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL AN HOUR AGO. Anyway here are the links
