Hello,
I am about to give my old pc to my niece. I have used the 'destructive'
system restore option to return the pc to its factory condition, but I
understand that my personal files are not necessarily erased permanently,
even tho' they do not appear in explorer. ??
My niece is not an IT professional and there is very little risk of my
personal data files being read, but I would like to be sure.
How can I permanently erase files that I cannot see in explorer.
The disk is 80 Gb, I have XP service pack 2
Thanks
KK
