Equations in Powerpoint 2007

I noticed that thankfully the horrible euqation editor has been replaced in
word 2007 by something far far better. But I can't seem to find the add
equation tools option in powerpoint 2007.

Is it available and I simply cant find it? Otherwise microsoft should add
the implementation of the equation tools in word 2007 into powerpoint 2007.

The Word 2007 equation editor hasn't been integrated into PPT. Copy &
paste of Word 2007 equations into PPT should work though.
