equal and autocorrect text boxes

I want to type in information in one text box and have it appear in another
text box but auto corrected as well, so that both are visible in the report.
Example: Box 1, I would type FB-129. I want it to automatically be copied to
Box 2 and converted (or autocorrected) to show 326. Both on the same form.
 
I think you might have to give us a hint on what you mean by 'autocorrected'
and how you got from FB-129 to 326.
