Epson Stylus Photo R800 vs. HP Photosmart 8450

Hi,

I have to buy a Photo printer and i am not sure which is the best one
between Epson R800 and HP Photosmart 8450.
HP have the smart card reader, even if i don't use it a lot.

According to you, which printer is better in order to print my photos?

Thanks

Probably the Canon IP8500. It is the narrow carriage version of the
I9900 and also has full duplex and dual paper feeds.

Duplex printing is of NO use in a photo printer! I would say the same for
the dual feeds! While I do like Canon printers,I own the i9900,those are not
relevant strengths to a photo printer. The ip8500 is faster than most
printers, and does do a nice job on photos.I bought the Epson R800,because of
the CD printing, and pigment inks.As for card readers,I prefer the small
stand alone readers.I do several hundred photos a week with my card readers.
