Epson 785EPX prints too red from digital card memory cards?

Since it is Christmas and a lot of people wear red clothing, the print
outs seem to be too red. Is this a limitation on the printer? Please
note that I am not printing from a computer.

My 785 prints beautiful pictures. Are you using Epson paper or another
company? That will make a difference. Have you run a nozzle check to make
sure that all your colors are printing?
 
A non-Epson brand (don't remember which brand though -- probably from
Costco or Staples). Epson's brand is expensive!! I did fiddle with the print
outs more. It seems like I don't get the "too red" effect if I print the
different photos smaller (4 on a page). The "too red" effect came up with
two large photographs on a page. I wonder if the printer has problem
printing too much red at these sizes.

Nozzles were fine when I did a Windows printer test and Epson's printer
test.

I think it is a problem with the paper you are using. I don't have any
problems printing photos all the way up to 8.5 by 11. There is a difference
in papers, you may have to fiddle with the color adjustments to get it right
on the paper you are using. If you are printing these photos to last a long
time keep in mind that not all papers are archival. You may be saving
pennies today but paying for it down the road.

My colors are right on and I use the Epson papers. The ink and the paper
are designed to work together, if you change the combo you will have to
experiment to get the best results.
