It seems to be "databases allowing programmers/DBAs to be lazy and not
provide documentation is a good thing." I disagree....

Heh, I didn't even read the post; that was just my take based on the
headline. That makes it funnier...!

Clearly the original poster thinks newsgroups are places for announcements.
While this is sometimes the case, especially in newsgroups explicitly
dedicated to such things, I assume that you and I are of the mind that they
are better suited to questions.

I read the POST, I just didn't follow the LINK. And the laziness I was
commenting on was based on what I read in the post plus
"mysqls-enum-datatype-is-a-good-thing" in the URL. So the irony factor is
reduced somewhat....
