Your date/time/timezone is seriously wrong. Please fix it.

Hi Tom,

That's twice now that you've posted a date/time zone message as a new
thread.

What's it all about? Who are you talking to? Why does it need a new
thread?

Just curious,
Fergus

Hi Herfried,

I see, - Tom is just putting it into its proper place. Thanks for that.

Somehow I had assumed that the server date-stamped messages as they
arrived rather than using the sender's time. My messages never have the time
that they're sent.

Doesn't using the sender's time have all sorts of possibilities for
confusion if you have people from different timezones all on the same thread,
eg, replies being timed-stamped earlier than the question, etc?

Regards,
Fergus
