entry point not found messages

When I start up my computer I get two error messages and
I can't figure out how to correct them. The messages
read as follows:
ALCXMNTR.EXE - Entry point not found
The procedure entry point SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces
could not be located in the dynamic link library
SETUPAPI.dll.

SOUNDMAN.EXE - Entry point not found
The procedure entry point SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces
could not be located in the dynamic link library
SETUPAPI.dll.

Any help????
