Hi everyone. I'm new here. Hope someone can help.
The LCD on my 6 1/2 y.o. laptop died so I bought a new
laptop. I used PC Relocator Ultra to migrate my stuff
from the old (Windows 98 2nd ed. with Office 97) to the
new (Windows XP Professional with Works).
After the migration all Office programs were OK on the new
laptop except Outlook. I got message box titled: "WMS
Idle: outlook.exe - entry point not found" with the error
message "The procedure entry point ConvertToGlobalHandle
could not be located in the dynamic link library
KERNEL32.dll" then a bunch of other errors, then Outlook
crashed.
I reinstalled Outlook from my Office 97 CD. Outlook would
then run, but I still got the same opening error message.
I upgraded to Office XP (which I had bought with my new
computer) and downloaded all the fixes, service packs etc
from MS but I still get the same error message every time
I start Outlook.
Any suggestions?
Thanks and regards, Roger
