Entering email addresses

I'm trying to enter email addresses into my access database. I see a data
type for hyperlinks, but not specifically for email. When I enter them as
hyperlinks, access assumes they're web pages. What am I missing?

You can enter the e-mail addresses into a field defined as text datatype. If you want the e-mail
address to be clickable in a form, so that it starts up your default e-mail client, then post
back and let us know. You can do this, but it involves some code.
