Entering credit card numbers

I have a user who can't enter complete credit card numbers on any secure
site. She is unable to enter the last digit. I thought this was a problem
with a single site, but the problem occurs on all sites.

Internet explorer locks up after she attempts to input the numbers, and she
has to restart IE. She has all the latest updates, and the computer is virus
and spyware free.

Please help.
 
Does the user have any internet security software installed, say from Norton
or McAfee? Or a firewall such as ZoneAlarm that has a feature that blocks
inputting of sensitive personal information?

Also....

In IE go to Tools...Internet Options...Content tab....Autocomplete, then
click Clear Forms. This will remove all such entries in all boxes.
