Does anyone know how to enter a formula in multible worksheets where the formula contains a worksheet tab
I have a workbook with 52 worksheets. I need to have each worksheet dated 1 week later than the previous worksheet
In cell A1 of worksheet 1 I entered the date of 1/1/04, on cell A1 of worksheet 2 I entered =, clicked A1 of worksheet 1, and inserted +7 (A1 of sheet 2 looked like ='sheet 1'!a1+7). I copied this formula to A1 in the remaining 50 worksheets and got ='sheet 1'!a1 in all the other worksheets
What I need to have happen is for Excel to accept ='sheet1'!a1+7 as a formula with 'sheet 1' as the var1able. i.e. the formula ='sheet 1'!a1+7 on sheet 2 to read ='sheet 2'!a1+7 on sheet 3, ='sheet 3'!a1+7 on sheet 4, etc. Can this be done without manully entering this on each of 50 pages?
