I am curious if I have enough power. Not necessarily an "XP" question,
although I am running XP Pro. Currently I have an Aspire 480w power supply.
This runs a CD-RW, 3 IDE 7200rpm HDD, 1 SATA 7200 pm HDD, 1 floppy drive, 1
100mb zip drive, 1 AGP video card (GeForce 3 Ti200 128ddr), 1 PCI soundcard
(Audigy 2 ZS), 1 PCI IDE controller, 1 TV card, front case lights, front
5.25 fan control and temp monitor w/ HDD cooler, 9 case fans on an AMD
Barton 2800+ using the onboard nic..

This power supply isn't that old, but recently (today), started getting
reboots from nowhere. Especially if I accidentally bump the case a bit.

Anyone have any thoughts or anything they can share with me on this? Would
appreciate it. Thanks much.

I don't mean to insult your intelligence....

But have you checked the obvious - that the PSU mains lead is pushed 100%
firmly into the PSU socket?

My mate rang me a few days back - his pc was dead, it had just cut out and
would no longer show any signs of life.
He insisted that he'd checked the PSU lead was firmly plugged into the
PSU...

He rang me back an hour or so later - his pc now working.
The PSU lead wasn't, as he claimed, plugged into the PSU firmly - it had
worked itself loose!

The fact that bumping into the case seems to have an impact on your
problem makes the above all the more necessary. Check all cables!

If that does not work check the internal cables (unless your machine is
under warrenty) but be carefull!

He should also blow the dust out of the box and especially around the CPU
