Enormous Font Sizes

Help...Got a new laptop recently and I'm having 2 problems:

1. Font sizes on some websites are ENORMOUS (and I mean
like 200 point!!). I can't even go to MS' Support site to
find a fix, because the support website also shows up in
this huge font size. OS = XP Home, IE = 6.0.2800.1106.

2. Some web pages do NOT utilize the entire screen width.
The laptop screen is 15" diag. The web-page width is
typically about 8-9". How can I fix this?

FYI...Yahoo looks great. MSN looks awful...Please help,

CSR,
1. Internet Options> Accessibility... uncheck everything
or
Check Accessibility options in Control panel> Accessibility.

2. This is a frequent complaint about MSN pages. They're coded for 800x600
and won't fill a larger screen. The problem ain't on your end ;-)

Try re-registering the mshtml.dll file
From: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

Quit all programs that are running.
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regsvr32 mshtml.dll and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in mshtml.dll succeeded" message,
click OK.
