I know this is a trivial problem, but I can not find the
solution to it. Does anyone know how to enable the
enevelope icon in the system tray to pop display when a
new email is received in Outlook 2000. I checked the
advanced emails options and there is no "show display in
system tray" like Microsoft claims there is. This may
have been for Outlook 2002 instead of 2000. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kris

You could try Tools>Options, click the Email Options button, and the third checkbox down should be "Display a notification when new mail arrives." I'm not sure, but this may put the envelope in the system tray.
