Endnote: How to get rid of the"and" before "et al"

I know in Endnote that you can change how commas and the word "and" appears
when you have multiple editors in a citation. I want to keep the "and" in
place for normal lists of Editors -- but the program also puts an "and"
before "et al" (which is obviously redundant!)

Does anyone know how to get rid of this "and" before "et al"? I'm running
Endnote 9.1. Thanks much --
