Endnote 7.0 shortcuts do not work!

Hi!

I have tried to install endnote 7.0 on Word 2002 and Word 2003 Beta on
two different computers. I could never managed to use the
[Alt-1]...[Alt-9] short cut keys in any of the Word processor. I tried
to redefine the keys in the "Cite while you ... Preference" window,
but the redfined keys did not work either. The short-cut keys work
fine with Endnote 5 and Endnote 6. Can you help? Is it a known issue
with Endnote 7?

There don't seem to be a lot of Endnote users on these NGs, not even
microsoft.public.word.formatting.longdocs, which you may want to check out
if you are writing things that require Endnote. Endnote does have their own
listserv where people share such issues, although you have to subscribe.

i am having the same problem, but it only started occurring once my Word XP was "updated" to 2003. i think this is a word problem, not an endnote problem. if anyone has solved this, please let me know. thanks
