Ending a Remote Desktop Session without closing programs

I want to disconnect a remote desktop session without closing all the
appliactions on the connected desktop.

When I shutdown/logoff all the applications close, I need to keep a
blackberry re-director program running.

Any ideas?

Start Button, Disconnect.
Or just close with the X.

Yes, I know this will work, except using this method keeps a "port" on the
server tied up ( Which only allows 2 users on at a time) After
"Disconnecting from 2 sessions I would not be able to log back on. Does this
make sense?

How many people are going to use that "server"?
If yourself only, try to connect/disconnect to console session only.

Unless you keep your session open with one of those methods - your
redirector will shutdown - since it is profile specific.
It's that simple.

If only two sessions are available on that server - then I assume this is an
administrative TS thing and each of the users knows how to use Terminal
Services Manager to disconnect old and idle users.
