Same problem

I too have received this problem and can't receive messages but can send them. Full message is as follows:

Task 'my email address - Receiving' reported error (Ox800CCC1A): 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail service administrator or internet service provider ISP for additional assistance.

I have tried changing the encryption types including auto setting and also removing the encryption option all together but still won't let me receive anything. Only thing i know I did before this happened was to load the new google earth. Don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Thanks for any help offered.
