Encoding - reset to western european vs iso

I recently upgraded to IE 6.0 and selected auto select for
the encoding setting but it always comes up in Western
(ISO) which does not open up the images on refreshed
pages. How do I reset the encoding setting to Western
European and deselect auto select?

Read this article. You may be missing some .nls files or your registry
setting is incorrect.
