Hi,

I use Outlook 2003.

I received a message with the following subject: Become a member and you
could win £2500!

As this e-Mail evaded my anti-spam rules, I checked the message header and
found the subject to be:

Subject:
=?Windows-1252?B?QmVjb21lIGEgbWVtYmVyIGFuZCB5b3UgY291bGQgd2luIKMyNTAwIQ==?=

The only part of this I recognise is the character set identifier
Windows-1252.

Can anyone tell me how the subject in the message header and the subject
displayed in my inbox are different?

Thanks.

Colin

Hi Diane,

Thanks for the very quick response.

Is this some form of encryption?

Colin.

| outlook can decode it for viewing, rules can't.
