enabling RIP

how do you enable RIP to automatically create routes with two windows 2000
servers with two nic`s each and an Xp- machine with one nic?
can somebody help me please this is for a school project.

On the Two Windows 2000 servers, you need to install Routing and Remote
Access. Add RIP to the IP Routing node. Add the interface under RIP where
you wish to listen and send RIP packets.

On the XP box, to get some RIP functionality, you would install the RIP
Listener. Under Control Panel / Add Remove Programs / Add / Remove Windows
Components, select
Networking Service > RIP Listener. This will only listen for RIP
Advertisements and not solicit.

If you are installing these, then you should be familiar with RIP's concepts
to get the advertisements you want. Hope this helps
