Emulator has stopped launching application for Debug

Hi All,

When I try to debug my smart device application.

The Pocket PC 2003 emulator starts up and connects.

The Status Bar in the IDE has info like.

Copying CarsPlusPPC.exe
Deploying CarsPlusPPC.exe

Copying sqlce.wce4.x86.cab
Deploying sqlce.wce4.x86.cab (shows install on the emulator)

Launching Application

Ready

Then Debug stops and emulator just displays the home screen, start menu
etc...
I can go into the File Explorer and Run my program on the emulator, but
can't debug it.

I have rebooted my PC
Done a Hard Reset on the Emulator, but still no joy.

The application is quite large 488kb

Any Ideas, is there a limit on the size of app that can be run in debug mode
?

The App is about 6 months old and has been working in a Wi Fi Network, but
have
added a SQL Server CE database for Offsite Inspections.

My program changes need to be deployed by the end of the week.

After a few reboots it seems to have sorted it self out for now.

This seems to happen about once per week on my system (Win2k/AMD
processor/VS2003). It appears to come from the ActiveSync, though can't
prove that.

I just reboot PC and it all works again . Not a big problem, but
frustrating none the less.

I faced the same problem. If not solved by rebooting, as sometimes has
occurred, I deinstalled AS and then reinstalled it. :-<
