I am using Windows XP Pro. When I boot the computer it
goes to the logon screen. When I logon, I get an empty
dialog error box. No error in the box, it just has a
exclamation point in a yellow triangle with a yes and no
choice. If I click yes or no it does not make a
difference. I enter Windows with no problems. I went
through msconfig and got rid of all boot up items that
could of caused the problem. The problem still exisists.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi,

-Have you looked in the Event logs ?
-Does it happen in Safe mode ?
-Look in the registry for other startup stuff.
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

What does a scan with your current antivirus (using updated definitions)
show?
