.EML files

I see from previous posts and other internet searches that an eml type file
must be imported from Outlook Express to MS Outlook. Is there any one that
has heard of an add-in to allow the user to open the eml file directly with
MS Outlook. If not and any developer is reading this can this be done? (All
be it Microsoft should have made this ability feasable themselves).
