embedding pictures into email message

How can I embed pictures into my email messages? There does not appear to
be a way to send pictures with emails other than as attachments.

Create mail>format menu>rich text.
 
A neater way to send photos is to go to Pictures > Select which random ones
you want to send by holding down Ctrl > Then click on Email at the top of the
Page > It attaches them for you > Write your message>Send.

Also, if you have Word, you can embed the photos on the page, and write a
message with them.
