embedding or linking & sizing

I am trying to insert an excel spreadsheet into a publisher page. I don't
know if I need to embed or link or just copy. No matter what I do - the
spreadsheet is larger than the page! I've resized the spreadsheet to make
sure it fits on one page. When I try to resize it in publisher it changes the
size of the columns and rows. I've had this same problem trying to insert
similar spreadsheets into PPT. Thanks for your help.

You could:

1. Choose EDIT - PASTE SPECIAL and paste it as a picture. This may still
paste a large picture, but you will be able to resize it and keep the
original Excel formatting.

2. Repeat (1) but with the LINK option enabled. If you do this, any
changes you make to the original Excel spreadsheet will flow through to your
Publisher document (this is good if you're making something that gets updated
